ABOUT THE PROJECT

Roar Lyte Mascot Design: A New Face for 1771 Technologies

For the RoarLyte Mascot Design project, we were approached by 1771 Technologies with an exciting brief. Specifically, they wanted to create a mascot that can become the recognizable face of their brand. In addition, the character needed to work seamlessly across diverse touchpoints – from social media and email campaigns to corporate presentations and marketing materials. Our mission was to help their communication feel more human, approachable, and full of personality. Ultimately, the goal was to create a character that could grow with the brand and become a natural, everyday part of how they communicate with their global audience.

CHARACTER EXPLORATION

Mascot development is a multi-stage process. Our visual search began with geometric shapes. Roar Lyte then evolved by refining his armor.

COLORING

Client palette was intentional to reflect 1771 Technologies’ enterprise-focused, clarity-driven brand and technical tone. Specifically, we were limited to these approved colors when finalizing the character, ensuring the design stayed consistent with their visual identity while maintaining clear contrast and readability.

CHARACTER FINALIZATION

Furthermore, for the RoarLyte Mascot Design, a range of poses was created to show the character in different situations – from focused and technical moments to confident, energetic, and playful ones. Consequently, this helps the mascot express emotion, support storytelling, and adapt naturally across different contexts and messages.
